JOB TITLE : Assistant Manager- MEP Design

Job Description:

Role & responsibilities

Prepare detailed specifications, drawings and schedules etc for all MEP services including load schedules, specifications for procurement of equipment in accordance with IS specifications;

? Undertake electrical installation design calculations, prepare design drawings and specifications as required to meet the project scope definition and ensuring they are in accordance with best practice;

? Provide specialist support to design and build project teams related to the electrical services associated with specific projects;

? Should be expert in preparing BOQ, Quantification, Budget estimation, Tendering procedures.

? Preparing a design brief for all the services for the upcoming stores. Preparation of Handing over documents with all as built drawings and test reports for official records.

? Coordination with Consultants for all design related issues and getting proper drawings as per site requirement. Handing design coordination meetings at site/office as per project requirement. Standardization of processes, verification of design and specifications.

? Must have excellent technical ability and a thorough understanding of electrical HT/LT distribution and control systems, together with HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, CCTV, PDS, Networking, DG's, UPS, Inverters, etc

Candidate Profile Academic Qualification Mandatory - B .E Electrical /Mechanical /Diploma

Technical Skills Mandatory-

Desired- AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office Qualifying Competencies

-Subject expert in MEP services (Electrical, Air Conditioning, Fire Fighting, Fire Detection, Plumbing, CCTV etc.)

-Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office

-Ability to work under pressure and meet a timeline.

- Exposure to Interior fit outs (Flooring/Glazing/Fabrication/Painting etc).

Design / execution of MEP services (Electrical, Air Conditioning, Fire Fighting, Fire Detection, Plumbing, CCTV etc.)

Experience- 3+ Years

Industry (preferred)/ Dept :Construction ,Design & Consulting Firm

Profile requirement : Experience in Electrical design is mandatory along with good exposure to MEP Services.
