Role & responsibilities


  • Oversee daily operations of the Food Department, ensuring product availability, freshness, hygiene, and attractive displays across categories.
  • Drive sales and margins by executing promotions, managing pricing, and tracking department KPIs.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation (FIFO), expiry control, and minimization of wastage and shrinkage.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the food department team to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, FSSAI guidelines, and company SOPs.
  • Analyze sales trends and customer demand to optimize assortment planning and improve overall department performance.
