Role & responsibilities:

1. Content & Storyboard Development: Design and develop detailed storyboards, e-learning modules, and instructional content.
Create engaging learning activities, assignments, assessments, and educational podcasts.
Convert classroom-based training material into interactive e-learning formats in collaboration with content developers.
2. Instructional Design Application: Apply instructional design frameworks such as Andragogy, Blooms Taxonomy, ADDIE, and the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model.
Ensure learning objectives are well-defined and aligned with course outcomes.
Integrate best practices to enhance learner engagement and retention.
3. Media & Asset Creation: Develop multimedia assets including audio, video, animations, simulations, role plays, games, and interactive activities.
Ensure all media elements are aligned with learning objectives and enhance overall learner experience.
4. LMS & SCORM Standards: Understand SCORM concepts and ensure content is packaged and deployed correctly on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Conduct compatibility, functionality, and performance testing across devices, browsers, and platforms.
5. Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate e-learning development vendors based on expertise, tools, and instructional design capabilities.
Review and approve vendor-built content to ensure quality, engagement, and compliance with standards.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality modules by external partners.
6. Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct thorough QA reviews to ensure instructional integrity, accessibility, and adherence to organisational brand/style guidelines.
Perform usability testing, gather learner feedback, and assess areas for improvement.
Identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies, and work with designers/developers for resolution.
Maintain QA processes, checklists, and generate quality reports for stakeholders.
7. Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements in design, content flow, interactivity, and navigation to optimize learner engagement. Stay updated with emerging trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and digital learning experiences.



Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong understanding of instructional design theories and models.
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning development tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SCORM standards and LMS operations.
  • Ability to develop multimedia elements (audio/video editing preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with strong visual design and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and quality assurance mindset.
